There is a penalty for early withdrawal.  If the certificate has a maturity of 12 months or less and the withdrawal occurs less than 365 days from the date of purchase, there is a 30-day penalty. If the certificate has a 24 or 36 month term and the withdrawal occurs after 365 days from the date of purchase, there is a 90-day penalty.

Rates change quarterly, therefore refer to your Rate Schedule for current rates. For details on special certificate rates, please contact the credit union.

Dividends are compounded quarterly and paid quarterly.
