Announcement from the Secretary of the Board of Directors
Vital Federal Credit Union will hold the 2018 Annual Meeting at 3:30 PM, Thursday March 22, 2018, in the Heart Center Auditorium, located at SRMC 358b, Serpentine Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
The Vital Federal Credit Union Nominating Committee recommended incumbent P. Larry Barnette and Veronica Moriarty to be placed on the 2018 ballot for the Board of Directors. In addition, no nominations were received via petition. As a result, the board secretary will cast a unanimous ballot for election of the persons nominated above at the annual meeting.
The election of volunteers will not be conducted by ballot and there will be no nominations from the floor at the Annual Membership Meeting when the number of nominees equals the number of positions to be filled.
Statement of Qualifications and Biographical Data on the Two Nominees:
P. Larry Barnette
Married to wife, Carol and have three children and five grandchildren.
Retired in 2008 after 40 years in healthcare administration, the last 30 as Senior Vice President and CFO of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. The first 10 years were spent in finance at Greenville Health System, in Greenville, SC.
BA degree in Economics and Business Administration from Wofford College in 1965. Certificate in Hospital Administration from Duke University in 1974.
Board of Director for VITAL FCU for the past 4 years.

Dr Veronica Moriarty has been employed as a clinical pharmacist at Spartanburg Medical Center for the past 37 years, and a member of the credit union for most of that time. She has volunteered as a member of the Supervisory Committee, Nominations Committee, and for the past 7 years on the Board of Directors. She understands that in order to offer a broad range of services to its members, the credit union must continue to have a solid financial footing. Veronica would like to continue to serve on the board to help ensure that the focus of the credit union is maintained on providing value to its members.
